Merete Kloster

Merete Kloster has extensive experience in the engineering field, currently working as a Task Lead at Aker Solutions since July 2018, where responsibilities include leading modification projects from study to execution, as-built, and close out. Previous roles at Aker Solutions encompass Senior Piping Engineer for field engineering during a shutdown in 2022, and Piping Engineer engaged in both 2D and 3D design from 2018 to 2020, followed by a position as Piping Discipline Task Responsible from 2020 to 2022. Prior to Aker Solutions, Merete served as a Higher Executive Officer at both the International Office and Universitetet i Stavanger from March to June 2018, as well as in a temporary administrative role at UiS. Earlier experience includes positions as a Piping Engineer at Fabricom PMAE AS and a summer internship at Fabricom AS. Merete holds a Master's degree in International Business from the University of the Sunshine Coast, a Bachelor's degree in Produksjonsteknikk from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and completed an Årsstudium in Økonomi og administrasjon at BI Norwegian Business School.
