Merete Lieng

Merete Lieng is a Senior Manager of HSSE and Sustainability at Aker Solutions, where they lead the implementation of the IOGP process safety framework. Previously, Merete has held various roles within Aker Solutions, including HSSE Manager and Head of Process Safety, and has also worked as a Senior Consultant in Maritime Solutions at Det Norske Veritas. With a background in mechanical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Merete has extensive experience in safety and risk assessment projects in the oil, gas, and maritime sectors.
