Roar Helle

Roar Helle is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience at Aker Solutions since August 1997, currently serving as a Senior Specialist with a focus on low-code development and Microsoft Power Apps Portals, alongside expertise in Javascript, Fetch XML, and web-api integrations. Previous roles include advisory positions in Business Intelligence utilizing Tableau and Microsoft SQL databases, as well as development of advanced reports in Tableau. Additional responsibilities have encompassed project management using the Method Integrated Project System (MIPS) and Qualiware Lifecycle Manager, where Roar worked on modeling organizational processes and ensuring system functionality to meet end-user requirements. Prior experience includes management of a support team and serving as Webmaster for Aker Maritime. Roar began the career at Braathens SAFE as a System Consultant specializing in PL1 programming and data warehousing, and initially worked at Norsk Data as a technician. Roar holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the University of Stavanger.
