Rune Andersen has extensive experience in supply chain management and procurement, with over three decades in the industry. Currently serving as VP of Supply Chain Management at Aker Solutions since February 1991, Rune has also held the position of Supply Chain Manager for the Kashagan project. Previously, Rune worked at Aker Kvaerner as Procurement Manager, overseeing various major oil and gas projects and managing the supply chain department. Early in the career, Rune served as Subcontract Manager at Alcatel-Lucent, focusing on subcontracting and purchasing for the Telecom division in Norway. Rune holds a Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, and International Management from BI Norwegian Business School, earned between 1984 and 2013.
