Sameer Karnik

Sameer Karnik is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in safety automation systems and project engineering. Currently employed at Aker Solutions as a Senior Safety Automation System Engineer since January 2024, Sameer previously held the position of Lead Engineer at Schneider Electric from July 2017 to January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Project Engineer at IB Automation Engineering Project Private Limited from August 2014 to July 2017, where Sameer worked on the Integrated Refinery Expansion Project for BPCL Kochi, specializing in Emerson DCS and SIS Logic. Beginning a career as a Junior Engineer at Aura Automations from December 2012 to August 2014, Sameer developed knowledge in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as PLC logic development. Sameer holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation from A.C. Patil College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai, and a Diploma in Instrumentation from V.P.M Polytechnic, Thane.
