Syed Akbar

Syed Akbar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project planning and coordination within the engineering and construction sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Planner/Scheduler at Aker Solutions since 2007, Syed is responsible for the overall project planning and scheduling for various projects in the Subsea division. Prior to this role, Syed worked as an Engineering/Project Coordinator at Aker Solutions Inc. and held the position of Project Manager at Aksa Business, Inc., a retailer of oil and gas products. Early career experiences include serving as a Material Manager at Nutramax Products, Inc., a manufacturer of healthcare products, and as a Project Coordinator at Wedtech Corporation, overseeing project coordination for the defense sector. Syed holds an Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
