Tahir Bashir McIps

Tahir Bashir MCIPS has worked in various procurement and supply chain roles throughout their career. Tahir started their career at Aker Solutions in 2007 as a Senior Buyer, where they were responsible for procuring major equipment for the Subsea Production system. Tahir managed the outsourcing of components such as Hydraulic Power Units (HPU), Electrical Power Unit (EPU), and Master Control Stations (MCS). Tahir then joined BAE Systems, Inc. in 2017 as a Supply Chain Lead, where they oversaw the procurement and supply chain activities for a specific area. Tahir developed strategies, engaged with suppliers, and managed a team. Tahir returned to Aker Solutions in 2018 and held the roles of Senior Buyer and Procurement Lead. Tahir Bashir MCIPS holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from Robert Gordon University, attained in 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NWFP University of Engineering and Technology Peshwar, Pakistan, from 1993 to 1999.
