Vicky McNiff

Vicky McNiff is an experienced professional in the field of intellectual property, currently serving as the IP Manager and Head of IP at Aker Solutions since 1998. In this role, Vicky leads a global intellectual property function aimed at maximizing the value of Aker Solutions’ IP assets, while managing initiatives to protect existing intellectual property, develop new IP, and exploit opportunities that contribute to business value. Prior to this position, Vicky worked as an Electronic Engineer at Nan Gall Technology Ltd and began a career as an Undergraduate Apprentice at British Aerospace (Military Aircraft) Ltd. Vicky holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from The University of Edinburgh and an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Leeds, alongside foundational education from Wigan Technical College and Lowton High School.
