Vidar Rustad

Vidar Rustad is an experienced mechanical engineer currently working at Aker Solutions in the Front End Department and the Modification Alliance, focusing on rotating machinery such as gas turbines, compressors, and pumps. Previously, Vidar held various engineering roles at companies including Voith Hydro AS and GE Hydro / Kværner Energy, where they specialized in hydraulic and mechanical assessments and project engineering for hydro power plants. Vidar has also contributed to education as a scientific assistant at Norges Tekniske Høgskole and managed training programs at Align Eureka Pumps. They hold a Master's degree in mechanical engineering from NTH, where they studied the dynamics of hydraulics and gas.
