Gary Guzzi serves as the Insurance Litigation Practice Chair at Akerman LLP, leading a national team of 40 lawyers dedicated to representing various domestic and foreign carriers, self-insured corporations, and municipalities. With a comprehensive background in insurance disputes, Guzzi specializes in litigating bad faith claims, coverage disputes, and claims governed by ERISA. Previously, Guzzi worked as an associate and partner at Akerman LLP from 1998 to 2005. Guzzi holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.S. in Finance from Boston College, both earned with honors.
