Dean Ditto

Dean Ditto has held a number of positions in finance and accounting since 1993. Dean began their career at Ford Motor Company, where they were a Manager in the Internal Audit team with global responsibility for the company's special investigation function. In 2001, they joined Countrywide Home Loans as a Senior Vice President, managing the financial analysis and reporting team for the Correspondent Lending Division. That same year, they became Controller at Giant Bicycle. In 2008, they joined Karl Storz Endoscopy as Controller and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in the same year. In 2015, they worked as a Consultant Interim CFO for UroTech, Inc. In 2016, they became Chief Financial Officer of Dental Lab Holdings. In 2018, they were appointed as Vice President, Corporate Controller at OSI Systems. In 2019, they joined Sigue Corporation as Chief Financial Officer and in 2020 they were appointed Chief Financial Officer at Mydecine Innovations Group. Finally, beginning August 1, 2022, they were hired as Chief Financial Officer at Akerna Corporation.

Dean Ditto obtained their MBA in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business between 1990 and 1993. Dean then obtained their BA in Economics and Management from Albion College between 1984 and 1988. In 2015, they obtained their Healthcare Compliance Certification from Seton Hall University. In 1999, they obtained their Certified Internal Auditor (inactive) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Dean has also obtained their Certified Public Accountant (inactive) from AICPA.
