Chee-Keng Ng is a research fellow at Akero Therapeutics, with a career spanning over three decades in biochemistry and glycobiology. Since November 2019, Chee-Keng has contributed to analytical operations and CMC as a consultant, after serving as an associate research fellow and senior principal research scientist at Pfizer from October 2011 to September 2019. Prior experience includes a senior research scientist position at Wyeth Biotech and a senior scientist role at Orquest, where Chee-Keng focused on drug development and cartilage metabolism. Earlier work at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIH) involved heparan sulfate biochemistry and gene transfer therapies. Chee-Keng obtained a PhD in Biochemistry from Monash University, building foundational expertise with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Law.
