Dr. Heather Coultas, DrHS, MSHS, is an accomplished Associate Director of Medical Writing with extensive industry experience in providing services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and device companies. Currently serving as the Associate Director for Akero Therapeutics, Dr. Coultas has previous roles including Associate Principal Medical Writer at bluebird bio and Senior Associate Director at Boehringer Ingelheim. They are also the President of Coultas Clinical Consulting LLC, focusing on medical writing and clinical research consulting. Dr. Coultas holds a Doctor of Health Science degree with a focus on Global Health and Epidemiology from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Master of Science in Health Science from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Education Leadership from Charter Oak State College.
