Craigen Burns

Craigen Burns has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2003, they worked at T-Mobile as a Manager, overseeing multiple teams in a call center. Craigen then joined Symantec in 2006 as an Enterprise Customer Support Manager, managing a customer service call center and representing the North American Customer Service Team. From 2008 to 2013, Burns served as a Sales Development Manager at CBT Nuggets LLC, where they developed and grew an International Sales Team focused on IT, Project Management, and MS Office training solutions for large organizations.

In 2013, Burns became the IoT Inside Sales Director at FW, a Novatel Wireless company. In this role, they directed a team of IoT Inside Sales Executives, exceeding IoT sales goals and managing the performance and hiring of employees in the inside sales department. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Sales & Business Development Manager at PacifiCAD Inc, where they led a team, reviewed contracts, and achieved profitability for the company.

Burns then joined Pipl, Inc. in 2017 as a Senior Data Sales Executive, responsible for building customer relationships and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts. In 2018, they worked as a National Account Manager/Sales Development Director at Ensemble Solutions Group, providing wireless IoT solutions and ensuring client support and satisfaction.

From 2019 to 2022, they held various roles at Egnyte, starting as a Sales Development Manager and eventually becoming the Global Director of Sales Development. At Egnyte, Burns was responsible for leading the sales development team and driving global sales strategies.

Most recently, in 2022, Burns joined Akeyless Security as the Global Head of BDR, where they manage the Secrets Orchestration Platform and ensures the protection and management of credentials, certificates, and keys in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Throughout their career, Burns has demonstrated leadership, team management, and a focus on driving sales and achieving business objectives.

Craigen Burns has a diverse education history. From 1995 to 1997, they attended Riverside City College, where they studied General Studies. Following that, from 1997 to 1999, they enrolled at the University of La Verne, majoring in Secondary Education and Teaching with a focus on History. Subsequently, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued a degree in Communications-Public Relations at Eastern Washington University. During their educational journey, Craigen also obtained additional certifications. In April 2011, they received the CompTia Strata Certification from CompTia. Additionally, in September 2012, they became Sandler Certified through Sandler Sales Training.
