Renana Even-Chen

Renana Even-Chen has a diverse work experience with a focus on software development and leadership roles. Renana is currently working at Akeyless as an R&D Backend Team Leader, a role they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Akeyless from 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining Akeyless, Renana worked as a Backend Team Leader at Tunity from 2018 to 2020. In this position, they led the entire backend development lifecycle, including design, implementation, and production. Renana worked with the latest technologies, such as microservices architecture and deployment with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes (k8s) with GPU node-pools.

Renana's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Software Developer at Prism Platform from 2017 to 2018. Renana developed a high throughput, low latency web-server based on NGINX, implemented using Lua scripting and Kafka as a message bus. Renana also worked on tailoring JS-tags and developing Chrome extensions.

Prior to Prism Platform, Renana held the position of Senior Software Developer at EBS BrokerTec from 2015 to 2017. Here, they implemented and maintained high-performance, ultra-low latency solutions for Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange trading platforms. Renana developed the gateway and pricing matching engine using C++ over Linux.

Renana's career began at PTC, where they worked as a Software Developer from 2012 to 2015. Renana designed and implemented an embedded browser that is currently used by millions of mechanical engineers worldwide. This browser served as the connection point between PTC's CAD software (Creo) and its web Product Lifecycle Management application (Windchill).

Renana Even-Chen attended Bar-Ilan University from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
