Emily Lu

Emily Lu has a diverse range of work experience. Emily is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Akia since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Meta as a Software Engineer for a brief period in November 2022. Emily also has experience at Microsoft, where they held the positions of Clinic Team Member - PM (Spring) and Software Engineer (Fall) from August 2021 to May 2022. Emily worked as an Intern at Pomona College's Asian American Resource Center from September 2020 to May 2022. Emily also served as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant at Harvey Mudd College from September to December 2021. Emily gained additional experience as a Software Engineer Intern at FactSet from June to August 2021. Emily worked as a Computer Science Researcher at Harvey Mudd College from May to December 2020. Prior to their software engineering roles, they had extensive experience at Leadership Development Camp, where they held various positions including Camp Counselor, Programs Director, Returning Staff Advisor, and Head of Marketing from March 2015 to September 2020. Additionally, Emily has worked at Scripps College as a Mentor, Marketing Intern, and Information Technology Intern from August 2018 to May 2020. Emily also served on the Carbon Neutrality Committee during the same period.

Emily Lu attended Arcadia High School from 2014 to 2018. Emily then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science at Scripps College from 2018 to 2022.
