Ryan Kanoknukulcha is the current Chief Operating Officer at Akia and has been with the company for 2 years and 9 months. Prior to their current role, they were the Solutions Engineering Manager, NA Partnerships, Solutions Engineer, and Solutions Engineer at Facebook for 4 years and 11 months. Ryan was also a Software Engineer at Intel Corporation for 2 years and 3 months. Ryan began their career as a Programmer at the DCog-HCI Lab, Department of Cognitive Science at UC San Diego, where they worked for 6 months.

Ryan has experience working with top US entertainment advertisers to help them develop full-funnel strategies and grow their businesses through Facebook’s technical advertising solutions. Ryan has also led cross-functional teams to drive and influence product directions and roadmaps by identifying key strategic opportunities based on in-market learning. Additionally, Ryan has led development efforts for specialized software, automation, and visualization of power and performance data.

Ryan’s experience in both the private and public sector makes him a valuable asset to Akia. Ryan's skills in developing new products and features, as well as their ability to work with interdisciplinary teams makes him an ideal candidate for their current role as COO.

Ryan Kanoknukulcha has a Master's degree from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree from The University of Kansas. Ryan's Master's is in Computer Science and their Bachelor's is in Computer Engineering. Ryan graduated with Departmental Honors from Kansas in 2010.
