Alex De Young

Alex De Young has worked in various roles since 2014. In 2021, they began working as a Program Manager for AKKO, where they execute and manages concurrent projects and small teams across different functions (both technical and non-technical) to meet high level business goals. Alex also develops processes and operations to increase efficiency, organization, and output for both new and existing business operations. In 2020, they worked as a Realtor for Sotheby's International Montecito through the Zabilla Group. In 2018, they began working for getAKKO.com / AKKO College Coverage as a Partner Sales in the Sports & Outdoors sector, and they also became the Managing Partner of createdbyRED, a small agency specializing in creating a modern, polished web presence for companies of all sizes. In 2017, they worked for Back Nine Surf Factory as a Sales, Financial Consultant, and Bookkeeper, and they also worked for Humble Hand Craft as a Sales, Operations Manager, and Financial Consultant. Finally, in 2014, they founded Due West Surf Company.

Alex De Young completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, General from California State University Channel Islands in 2020. Alex had previously obtained their Associate of Science in Business Administration and Management, General from Ventura College in 2016.
