Ankit Kumar

Ankit Kumar has been working in the tech industry since 2017. In that time, they have held various roles at different companies. At Makerdemy, they worked as a Web Application Developer, where they developed and implemented a data upload & analysis web portal and engine, worked on IoT projects, and did web scraping. At FSS, they were a Software Engineer, where they worked on server side development for Access Control Server (ACS) transaction engine, and modules such as Audit Ankit'story Server and Configuration Portal. At Cloudera, they held three roles: Senior Product Specialist, Senior Customer Operations Engineer, and Customer Operations Engineer. In the Senior Product Specialist role, they owned Apache YARN, Apache Kafka, and Streams Replication Manager end-to-end supportability. As a Senior Customer Operations Engineer, they provided advanced Kafka support and developed solutions to complex Kafka problems. As a Customer Operations Engineer, they worked with enterprise customers on debugging Kafka client application source code. At Walmart Global Tech India, they held two roles: Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer III - Data Engineering. In the Senior Software Engineer role, they designed and developed a real-time platform offering customers digital cash-back for purchases done through store and online. In the Software Engineer III role, they worked on a novel Customer Data Platform for Walmart Labs. Lastly, Ankit currently works at Aklivity, where they are a Core Engineer.

Ankit Kumar completed their Higher Secondary from Sunbeam Matriculation Hr. Sec. School in 2012. Ankit then went on to pursue an MS in Software Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2017. In 2017, they also started a Master of Science in Psychology from University of Madras, which they completed in 2019. In September 2019, they obtained a Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka certification from Confluent.
