Cátia Smith

Cátia Smith is an accomplished interpreter and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the language services industry. Currently serving as an Interpreter at Lexi Translations and as Founder and Portuguese Interpreter at TransLuso Interpreting Services LLC, Cátia also holds a position as a Portuguese OPI Interpreter at Akorbi since March 2023. Previously, Cátia operated a successful small business, Catia's Services, from April 2011 to December 2022, achieving significant sales growth and demonstrating effective leadership through hiring and training a team of contractors. Cátia is pursuing a Translation and Interpreting Certificate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, expected to be completed in August 2025.
