Katrin Hitz

Katrin Hitz has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Starting in 1990, they worked as a Specialist Customer Service at Alcon for four years. Katrin then joined The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in 1999, where they held various HR roles including Documentation Management Assistant, Team Lead Documentation Management, HR Associate, Team Lead HR Support, and finally HR Business Partner. Their tenure at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson lasted for 17 years. In 2016, they moved on to work at Stadt Winterthur, where they had several roles, including Personalverantwortliche, Leiterin Personaladministration und Personalverantwortliche, Interim. Leiterin Personalwesen A+P, and finally Personalverantwortliche (sowie Stv Leiterin Personalwesen) A+P. Katrin worked at Stadt Winterthur until December 2021. Currently, they are the Head of Human Resources, Akorn AG, starting in January 2022.

Katrin Hitz's education history begins in 2001 when they attended WISS Schulen für Wirtschaft Informatik Immobilien and completed a degree in Kauffrau KS. In 2005, they attended NbW Zürich and earned a HR Fachfrau, eidg. FA / Federal Diploma HR. Continuing their studies, from 2012 to 2013, they attended ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and completed a CAS in Beratung in der Praxis. In 2017, they returned to ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and earned a DAS in Personalpsychologie IAP. Most recently, from 2018 to 2019, they pursued a MAS degree in Human Resources Management from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
