Donna Mackey

Donna Mackey has a strong background in clinical operations and research. Donna is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Akouos since May 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals from July 2014 to April 2021. Before joining Alnylam, they worked at Synageva BioPharma Corp. as the Senior Director of Clinical Research from November 2011 to July 2014. Donna also has significant experience with Genzyme, where they held various positions including Senior Director of Clinical Research from 2005 to 2011, Director of Clinical Research from 2003 to 2005, and Associate Director of Clinical Research from 2001 to 2003. Donna started their career as a Clinical Research Associate at Quintiles in 1993 and held several roles at the company including Associate Director of Clinical Research, Clinical Scientist, Manager of Clinical Operations, Senior Clinical Research Associate, and Clinical Research Associate. Donna began their career as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 1991.
