Cheng Chen

Cheng CHEN has extensive experience in design engineering, starting as an Intern RF Engineer at RF Micro Devices, Inc. in 2006. Cheng went on to hold roles such as Staff Design Engineer at RFMD, where they led successful product designs, and later transitioned to Qorvo, Inc. where they served as a Design Engineering Manager and Senior Manager, leading product design and development activities for UWB applications. In 2020, Cheng CHEN joined Akoustis, Inc. as the Director of Design Engineering. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated success in customer engagement and design wins with top-tier clients.

Cheng CHEN obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Optics from Wuhan University in 2002. Cheng then completed their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. Cheng CHEN went on to receive their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University in 2010.
