Emma Powell

Emma Powell is a Senior Environmental Scientist at AKRF, a position held since June 2015. Prior to this role, Emma served as a Research Assistant with the Baltimore Ecosystem Study from May 2007 to June 2015, where research involved collaboration with the USDA Forest Service on water and soil studies in the Baltimore area. Emma also worked as a Field Assistant for the Residential Carbon Project at the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies in early 2007, completing an undergraduate internship that focused on water quality and carbon cycling. Emma holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Towson University, obtained in 2012, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the same institution, completed in 2007.
