Laura Craig

Laura Craig, PhD, CERP, currently serves as the Senior Technical Director for Water & Natural Resources at AKRF, a position held since March 2024 following the acquisition of Engineering & Land Planning Associates, where Laura was the Director of Water Resources. Prior to this, Laura held the role of Director of Natural Resources and Director of Ecological Services at Princeton Hydro, overseeing a diverse team focused on ecological restoration and regulatory compliance. Laura's earlier career includes significant leadership at American Rivers, with multiple roles culminating in the position of Director of Science & Economics Program, which emphasized integrating scientific understanding into conservation practices. Additionally, Laura has extensive experience in managing river restoration projects and facilitating dam removal across the mid-Atlantic region. A PhD holder from the University of Maryland, Laura is also an Eastern Regional Senior Fellow in the Environmental Leadership Program.
