Daniel Outen

Daniel Outen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the real estate industry. Daniel is currently working as the Vice President - Carolinas at Akridge since November 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director, Development at Outlier Realty Capital from August 2018 to August 2019.

From 2016 to 2018, Daniel worked at Irvine Company, where they held various roles including Director, Development, Senior Development Manager, and Development Manager.

Before joining Irvine Company, they worked as a Fund Manager at KFBSF Real Estate Funds. During their tenure from August 2015 to June 2016, Daniel oversaw $8.1 million in committed capital across three fund vehicles.

Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience at The JBG Companies as a Senior Analyst and Analyst from January 2013 to June 2014 and from June 2010 to December 2012, respectively. Daniel also worked as an intern at Tri Properties, Inc. and Trinity Partners in 2009 and 2007, respectively.

Daniel Outen attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a concentration in Finance. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled in the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2014 to 2016, pursuing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
