Dave Smith

Dave Smith has a strong work experience in the biotech industry. Dave started in 2002 as a Cell Therapy specialist in Cambrex and later moved to Lonza, where they held various positions including Head of Therapeutic Cell Solutions and Vice President of Global Business Development. In 2018, they joined Healios NA, Inc as the Chief Commercial Officer and simultaneously served as a Director at Healios K.K. In 2020, they became the President and Chief Commercial Officer at Akron Biotech.

Dave Smith obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Duquesne University, where they studied from 1978 to 1983. Dave then pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Wheeling University, graduating from 1986 to 1989.
