Founded in 2023 as a spin-off from H2APEX, AKROS Energy is supported by public funding from the European Union and has secured multiple patents across its core technology. The company has successfully validated its process at lab and pilot scale and is now advancing toward commercial deployment.

AKROS Energy is a part of the H2APEX Group. The H2APEX Group SCA is a listed holding company and the parent company of H2APEX Group, which in its core business develops, builds and sells or operates green hydrogen plants with an electrolysis capacity up to 1 GW.
