Ryan Birrell

Ryan Birrell is a Senior Engineer with over two and a half years of experience in structural design, specializing in reinforced concrete and structural steelwork across high-end retail, residential, educational, and life science projects. They began their career as a Student Site Engineer at GRAHAM Construction in 2016, contributing to a significant redevelopment project. Ryan later served as a Student Bridge Engineer and Student Highways Engineer at Mott MacDonald, gaining valuable insights into bridge inspections and highway assessments. Currently, Ryan applies their expertise at AKT II, where they have progressed from a Structural Design Engineer to a Senior Engineer, focusing on detailed design calculations and site monitoring. Additionally, they volunteered as a tutor with The Access Project, supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
