Simon Smith

Simon Smith is an Associate Director at AKT II, leading the Manchester Studio with over 16 years of experience in structural engineering. Simon's career began at the University of Bath and continued in Manchester, where they developed a passion for diverse projects, including residential, commercial, educational, leisure, and heritage schemes. Previously, Simon held positions at various firms, including Project Director at Woolgar Hunter and Principal Engineer at Curtins. Outside of professional pursuits, Simon enjoys renovating their family home, hiking the Wainwright fells in the Lake District, and perfecting pizza dough recipes.
