Saad Malaeb

Saad Malaeb has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Currently, they are working as the Lead Software Engineer - Visualizations at AKTEK Ltd - Data Management Software since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Full-stack Web Developer in the same company from August 2021.

Before joining AKTEK Ltd, Saad worked at the Ministry of Agriculture - General Directorate of Cooperatives as an IT Systems Engineer from December 2018 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for creating and publishing the main website, leading the development of a workflow system, and working on the COBIT Framework implementation.

Saad also has experience as a Software Engineer, where they created a cross-platform React Native mobile app from start to finish and worked with a remote team using scrum agile methodology. Saad held this position from January 2016 to June 2020.

Furthermore, Saad worked as a CRM Developer at GlobeMed Group from June 2017 to December 2018. In this role, they specialized in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ASP.NET framework, collaborating with an agile team to maintain the CRM system and develop custom features.

Prior to that, Saad worked as a Web Developer at Integrity s.a.r.l where they developed front-end designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Saad also created websites using WordPress. Saad held this position from February 2014 to April 2015.

Saad's early work experience includes an internship as an RF Engineer Intern at Cedarcom - Mobi from June 2013 to August 2013. In this role, they monitored the performance of the radio network, configured and managed the system, and troubleshooted network problems to improve quality.

Saad Malaeb obtained a Master's Degree in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Science and Technology. Saad attended this institution from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Communications Engineering from the Lebanese University, where they studied from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Saad has obtained several certifications. In March 2017, they received the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA. Saad also completed the IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software certification from Cisco in October 2015. Furthermore, they obtained the Introduction to the Internet of Everything certification, also from Cisco, in the same month and year.
