Shawn Cox

Shawn Cox has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as the Chief Financial Officer at Aktify, Inc., where they are responsible for AI technology to power better-than-human conversations to convert prospective customers into inbound phone calls. From 2018-2021, they held the roles of Chief Executive Officer and President at SecureNet Technologies. From 2017-2018, they worked as the CFO at Ohi - Social Video Dating. From 2015-2017, they were the Director of SREC Management at Vivint Solar. From 2013-2015, they were the CFO at Contour, LLC. and Clarke Capital Partners. Shawn also held the role of CFO at Curza in 2013. In 2010, they began working as a Principal at Rose Park Advisors, an investment firm focused on Disruptive Innovation. From 2008-2010, they were a Portfolio Manager at Cox Capital Partners. Finally, from 2007-2008, they were a Hedge Fund Research Assistant at Marshall Wace.

Shawn Cox attended Brigham Young University from 1995 to 2001, where they earned a BS in Accountancy. Shawn then returned to Brigham Young University from 2001 to 2002, earning an MAcc in Accountancy. In 2006, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned an MBA. Shawn also attended the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2006 to 2008, where they earned an MBA in Finance.
