Stephen Augustus

Stephen Augustus serves as a Technical Architect in the Office of the CTO at Bloomberg and holds several influential positions across various organizations. As a member of the Technical Advisory Council, OpenSSF Scorecard Steering Committee, and Governing Board at OpenSSF, Stephen plays a key role in guiding software security initiatives. Additionally, Stephen is an Advisory Board Member at Edera and contributes to the Kubernetes project as a Steering Committee Member and SIG Release Chair. In the TODO (OSPO) Group, Stephen serves as a Steering Committee Member. As an angel investor at CarriedAI and a seed investor in Chainguard, Inc. and Akuity, Inc., Stephen supports innovative startups. Previously, as Head of Open Source at Cisco, Stephen built the open source strategy and was part of the Senior Leadership Team at Outshift by Cisco.
