Ryan Taylor

Ryan Taylor has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Sales Executive at AKUR8 since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Park Place Technologies, where they served as an Account Manager from January 2021 to May 2023, responsible for building client relationships in South Africa and the UK. Ryan also held the position of Business Development Associate at Park Place Technologies from January 2021 to July 2021, focusing on growing the business in Southern Africa through strategic account and channel relationship development.

Before joining Park Place Technologies, Ryan worked as a Business Development Consultant at Lily Soutter Nutrition from February 2020 to September 2020. In this role, they provided B2B nutrition services, specializing in furthering business development into the corporate wellbeing sector and developing longtail business services.

Ryan also has academic experience, having pursued a Masters at Loughborough University London. During their time there from September 2018 to September 2019, they conducted research for their thesis on how big data analytics can improve dynamic capability and competitive advantage in mHealth firms. Additionally, they worked on a consulting project at Mobike, where they evaluated a business concept, performed interviews, and market research, and provided recommendations to the director of Research and Innovation.

Furthermore, Ryan gained experience as a Summer Intern at ACI Financial Markets Association in July 2017.

Ryan Taylor completed their Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at Loughborough University London from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained an Honors degree in Business Management with Psychology from Bath Spa University from 2015 to 2018. Their education journey began at St. Stithians, where they completed their High School education from 2001 to 2014.
