Pine Yang

Pine Yang is a skilled professional with extensive experience in analytical techniques, currently serving as a Product Portfolio & Margin Analyst and previously as a Chemist II at AkzoNobel since May 2015. Collaborative contributions include involvement in new product development, technical services, and marketing activities. Prior to AkzoNobel, Pine Yang worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Rice University, focusing on enhancing a novel biocompatible liquid crystalline polymer for cell culture applications. Earlier experience as a Graduate Assistant at Syracuse University involved researching shape memory effects in polymers for biomedical applications, coupled with polymer characterization and medical device prototype design. Pine Yang holds a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from Nantong University.
