Brian Ging

Brian Ging is a highly experienced media professional with a robust background in newsgathering and production. Since December 2008, Brian has been serving as a Senior Field Producer at Al Jazeera Media Network, focusing on international newsgathering, interviews, and investigations. Prior to this role, Brian held positions such as Senior Producer at Five News, where responsibilities included editing news programmes and field producing, and Producer within the Home Affairs Unit at BBC News, specializing in significant issues like policing and terrorism. Additional experience includes production roles at BBC Breakfast and BBC Newsroom Southeast, alongside academic qualifications in Philosophy and Politics from The University of Manchester and a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
