Engineering and IT

The Engineering and IT team at Al Jazeera is responsible for developing and maintaining the technical infrastructure required to broadcast news and live debates. This includes designing and managing media applications, backend systems, and digital platforms; ensuring the reliability of broadcast and streaming services; maintaining the network and IT systems; and supporting live streaming and over-the-top (OTT) services. Their collective expertise ensures seamless and resilient operation of Al Jazeera's digital and broadcast channels.
