Al Jisr Foundation is the first Omani NGO to sign the UN Global Compact, a United Nations initiative aimed to encourage businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies.

Al Jisr is a private foundation focused on creating strategic impact through  healthcare, education, and economic empowerment initiatives. As Oman’s first non-profit organization to sign the United Nations Global Compact, it is particularly focused on steering Oman towards the achievement of the universally adopted Sustainable Development Goals.
