Jon Bowen

Jon Bowen is a Project Engineer based in Gadsden, where he works to assist clients in profitability and sustainability by providing training and technical assistance.

Bowen has been with ATN for 14 years and has an additional 23 years’ experience in engineering and industrial maintenance. Bowen provides training in Industrial Maintenance, OSHA, and Lean.

Prior to joining ATN, Bowen was a Project/Mechanical Engineer for Goodyear Tire & Rubber and was responsible for engineering duties in the Curing/Final Finish area of the plant. While there, he helped maintain the tire curing presses and final finish machines by working with general maintenance mechanics and electricians and installed many new and transferred pieces of equipment.

Bowen has been a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers for 37 years and has been an OSHA-authorized General Industry Trainer for 14 years.

A graduate from Auburn University, Bowen has a degree in Mechanical Engineering. When not hard at work providing training and assistance to clients, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and boating.
