Mark Vivian has extensive work experience in the field of picture research and sales in the media industry. Mark'smost recent role is as a Channel Partnerships Executive at Alamy since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked for PA Images as an International Sales Co-ordinator from December 2016 to September 2020, providing support to the international sales department. Before that, they were an Account Executive at StockFood Ltd, a food media collection company, in 2016. From 1998 to 2015, they worked as a Picture Research Manager at Mary Evans Picture Library, specializing in historical image collections. Mark also held the same position at Robert Harding World Imagery from 1991 to 1998, managing picture research for travel photography. Mark began their career at The Image Bank as a Picture Researcher, specializing in book and magazine publishers from 1987 to 1990.

Mark Vivian attended Bournemouth School from 1975 to 1983. Mark then pursued further education at Bedford College of Higher Education from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in History and Sociology.
