Alfredo S. has extensive experience in operations and management consulting, with a current role in operations at Alan since September 2020. Prior to this, Alfredo worked at Uber from April 2017 to September 2020, progressing from Operations Manager to Senior Operations Manager focused on Marketplace Efficiency in Southwest Europe. Experience also includes a position as Management Consultant at Minsait, specializing in Energy & Utilities and Telco & Media sectors and previous roles at Deloitte where Alfredo was involved in significant projects, including defining IT strategy for a major Portuguese energy company and assessing solar energy investments. An internship as a Design Engineering Intern at ComEd and research at the Technical University of Madrid complement Alfredo's technical background, which is bolstered by a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
