Simon Devonshire Obe

Simon Devonshire OBE is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as an Entrepreneur, Investor, Non-Executive Director, and Chair at Simon Devonshire since August 2015. As Chairman of the Board at Ploughshare Innovations and Entrepreneur in Residence at the National Physical Laboratory, Simon also holds Non-Executive Director roles at the Student Loans Company and Mercia, in addition to providing strategic advice to The Local Data Company. Previously, Simon served as Entrepreneur in Residence for the UK Government's Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and held leadership positions at Telefónica, where responsibilities included driving the business accelerator Wayra Europe and managing the small and medium business division of O2 UK. Simon's educational background includes studies at Kingston University from 1986 to 1988.
