David Devine

David DeVine is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a First Officer for Alaska Airlines since September 2022, with a background in operating B-737 aircraft under FAA Part 121. Prior to this, David held a First Officer position at Everts Air Cargo from March 2019 to July 2022, where responsibilities included flying MD80 and Cessna Caravan aircraft. Early career experiences include serving as Captain for Ravn Alaska, stationed in Utqiagvik, and a Mathematics Professor at Grand Canyon University, where program development and instruction took place. Additionally, David worked as a Data Scientist at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center and as a Mathematics Teacher in Hanoi, Vietnam. David is currently pursuing an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, specializing in Controls, at the University of Washington and holds an M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
