Stuart Back

Stuart Back has a varied and extensive work experience. Stuart currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Pursuit Collection, overseeing a collection of iconic experiences in various locations. Stuart is also a Board Member at Tourism Jasper and Treasurer on the Board of Directors at Banff & Lake Louise Tourism. In addition, Stuart Back has held positions as a Board Member at the Tourism Industry Association of Alberta and as a Volunteer Firefighter at the Banff Fire Department. Stuart has also served as a Board Member at the Peter and Catherine Whyte Foundation. Prior to their current roles, Stuart Back was the Vice President of Operations at Banff Jasper Collection by Pursuit and had temporary positions including Interim CEO and Director in Resort Services at Banff Lake Louise Tourism. Stuart has also held the position of Board Chairman at Banff Heritage Tourism. Earlier in their career, they served as the Gondola Rescue Team Leader at Lifeskills Rescue.

Stuart Back completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wales, Cardiff, from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Wadham School from 1990 to 1994, but no specific degree or field of study information is available for that period.
