Scott Work

Scott Work has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Scott started their career at Micron Technology in 1989 as a System Manager, where they gained 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing IT solutions. Scott then joined Tekmate in 2008 as a system administrator, responsible for managing the City of Palmers network. In 2014, Scott Work worked at Cabela's as a Regional Operations Team Lead, leading the operations team. Later in 2014, they joined Alaska Communications as Client IT services.

Scott Work's education history begins in 1980 when they attended the US Air Force and obtained a degree in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on aircraft such as C141, C5, F4, and F16. From 1984 to 1986, they pursued pre-engineering studies at Eastern Oregon University. Following this, in 1986 to 1987, they attended Portland State University for further pre-engineering coursework. In 1988, Scott enrolled at ITT Technical Institute and completed a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1988 to 1990. Finally, in 2010, they spent a brief period at the University of Alaska Anchorage studying Cisco.
