Alaska Pretrial Services provides innovative defendant program release options for the Alaska criminal courts system for bail, probation, parole and juvenile justice defendant release as a way to keep our community and victims of violence safe.  APS's active "24/7 supervised" electronic monitoring program is backed by a partnership developed with Track Group Inc. using GPS real time technology, support and equipment.  APS has been Track Group Inc. Alaska Distributor for equipment and services since 2012.  APS provides Court, DOC and OCS drug and alcohol compliance testing. The APS Social Service staff work with offender re-entry services and treatment program placement.  SCRAM Remote Breath is our newest addition of products APS offers for facial recognition alcohol compliance testing.
