AyJay Lasater

AyJay Lasater is the co-founder and CTO of Albedo. AyJay was previously with Lockheed Martin, where they served as systems architecture manager. In this role, they worked with multiple programs to develop HW/SW architectures, CONOPS, requirements development, and interface definition. AyJay also developed multiple Space Vehicle platforms, scaled to constellation architectures required to meet customer objectives. AyJay is familiar with SV platforms ranging from class D cubesats to large class A vehicles. AyJay is an expert in moderating design decisions between payload and bus performance, balanced against cost and risk.

AyJay has successfully delivered on programs in their design cycles all the way from proposal development, system analysis, manufacturing and test, and on-orbit operations.

AyJay Lasater received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. After working in industry for a few years, they decided to return to school to get a Master of Science in Mechatronics Systems Engineering from the University of Denver.
