Lin Wang

Lin Wang is a Battery Scientist at Albemarle Corporation since July 2023, with prior experience as a Doctoral Student at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2019 to June 2023. Wang contributed as a Research Collaborator at the Toyota Research Institute from September 2021 to September 2022, focusing on the performance of room-temperature liquid metals in electrochemical actuators. In May 2022, Wang delivered an oral presentation on lithiation-induced deformations in lithium-ion battery electrodes for the Materials Research Society. Earlier, in August 2019, Wang presented research on magnesium-ion battery anodes at the American Association for Advances in Functional Materials. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
