Stephen Buras

Stephen Buras is an experienced project manager with a robust background in engineering and project management gained through various roles at leading companies. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Albemarle Corporation since October 2010, Stephen is involved in the development of FEL 1, FEL 2, and FEL 3 for lithium hydroxide refinery processing in the APAC region. Previous roles include Plant Engineering Director at Albemarle, overseeing capital and expense projects, and Houston Engineering Manager, managing engineering for capital projects at Houston area plants. Stephen's career also includes project management experience at LyondellBasell and Honeywell Specialty Chemicals, as well as mechanical design engineering at E-Systems. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, obtained between 1981 and 1986.
