David Phelps

After studying civil engineering and urban education at The University of Alabama, David taught middle school math in New York City and Chicago. He earned a master’s in teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and helped found a community-based charter school in East Harlem. When not playing games on his calculator, he can be found gasping for air at a yoga class or singing “Go, Cubs, Go!” at the top of his lungs.
